The principal writer of the Gay Catechism is the Rev. Dan Hooper, Pastor of Hollywood Lutheran Church in Hollywood, California, and a member of the Roster of Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries (ELM).  He is also a veteran writer for Lutherans Concerned/North America.
